We were up early, hitting the road for Luwerro, where we did 2 presentations. After 2 hours of travel time we arrived at the African Outreach Primary School. As we drove in we had a large following of delightful young girls and boys, What an “oddity” to see a van arrive, filled with white ladies, young and old. They were so excited and they wanted to touch our hands. Our presentation was outside under the shade of a large tree. The girls were so attentive. They had lots of questions and many happy faces. It’s amazing and heartwarming to see the excitement as they received their kits.

The Shamma Secondary School was just around the corner but we arrived during prayer time and then lunch so we had a couple hours wait before we could do our presentation. These were older girls so the agenda changed a bit, but we had fun with them and stressed, “use your kits and stay in school”. They all seems so appreciative!

Another 2.5 hour trip, over crowded roads, we arrived home at 7 pm… a long but rewarding day!
