ISEE Solutions’ mandate is to partner with Ugandans to invest in projects that the community members have identified as priorities for the development of sustainability, education and empowerment within that community.
We are not a funding partner and we do not give money.
All money is directly invested by the members of the board who travel to Uganda to learn about the projects before ISEE invests in them. Funds are accounted for and all transactions are transparent and pre-approved by the board.
ISEE’s board is all volunteers (see the Us page) and as such, has a very low operating budget. Money invested into ISEE goes directly into the projects in Uganda.
Please note, if you donate to a specific project, we will endeavour to use that money for that specific project. However, some or all of your donated money may be used for another project as outlined on our ISEE Projects page, based on the most pressing need. We appreciate your understanding as situations and opportunities change regularly. Your donated money, however, will never be used for administrative costs.
Here is ISEE’s Financial Statement for Expenses in 2015. Please note that flight costs are paid by the volunteers who are travelling to Uganda and are included in the column entitled ‘Travel Costs’. Donated money is not used for flight costs. Legal and accounting fees as well as administration costs have been donated personally by the ISEE board members.
